Something very important has just happened here. I feel like I should be doing something miraculous. I mean, if God talks to you, you don’t just say “thank you very much, it was nice chatting with you.”

He stops and frowns. He’s thinking hard. Suddenly, Murray brightens.

When I was a child I remember hearing a legend about three Persian magicians. They witnessed some sort of marvelous and divine event. Something happened in a Judean town called Bethlehem. That’s just outside of Jerusalem. Jerusalem. I’ll go to Jerusalem!
